Bulloch strong again, runner-up
at UROC Pro Nationals
Cedar City, Utah – (June
22, 2005) Dean Bulloch strives for perfection every
time he sits in the Mastercraft seat of their On Track
Krawler Team Suzuki Samurai. Whether he’s practicing,
playing or competing, he and his teammate, Karl Munford,
share a common goal while on the rocks. That goal is
to out wit and out perform every single competitor or
friend when the BFGoodrich rubber meets the rock pile.
Bulloch and Munford entered the UROC Pro National Modified
Stock Series Round 3 at St. George in third position.
By the end of the hot and windy weekend they maintained
their championship points standing in third place.
Bulloch
led the competition most of the weekend as he and Karl
set the bar for other competitors. The massive rocks
of St. George, Utah provided the setting for the first
natural course location here in the 2005 season. The
first event of the season was held at Rocky Mountain
Raceway, Salt Lake City, Utah, and the second at Firebird
International Raceway, Phoenix, Arizona, both on man-made
gunnite sprayed courses. Battling amongst the biggest
rocks the tour has scene this year, Bulloch led every
inch of the way, as he climbed his Suzuki Samurai rock
rig up the face of vertical rock slabs that no other
competitor thought was possible to conquer. Brad Lovell,
the competition winner commented, “I couldn’t
believe Dean climbed that rock face. After that we had
no choice but to attempt it. I could not believe it,
until we successfully climbed it as well.”
Facing
top challengers throughout the season has been the way
of life for On Track Krawler Team. As the reigning UROC
Pro National Modified Stock Champions, as well as the
UROC Supercrawl III Champions, being the #1 target throughout
the season bodes
well with Bulloch. “We just try to increase the
level of competition at each and every event and we’re
always aiming to capture the win. Here at the St. George
event we
climbed
our rock rig to places that some of the Super Modified
teams could not get to. And I’m telling you that
our BFGoodrich tires are second to absolutely no one.
They are truly the best off-road tire in the world and
they continue to lead us to wins time-and-time again.
Congratulations to Team Lovell on their first place
win. It was neck-and-neck all the way to the very end.
Our margin of our loss was only 2 points, but we’ll
bounce back, as the season far from over. We’ll
be at it again next weekend as we compete at the PRO
Rock event in Cedar City,” explained Dean Bulloch.
