Bulloch Drives To WIN at PRO Rock in New Mexico

Farmington, New Mexico, – (June 8, 2006) The second event of the four-event PRO Rock series descended upon the southwest territory of Farmington, New Mexico, where the nation’s top rock crawlers trekked from across the United States to battle on the rock surface of the famed Choke Cherry Canyon.

Not far off the highway leading into Farmington from Shiprock, New Mexico, is a natural rock terrain canyon loaded with some of the nation’s most difficult rockcrawling obstacles. Often referred by those inside professional rockcrawling as the “mecca” of the insane rocks, the second competition of the PRO Rock Series was destined to be wild.

Dean Bulloch and Karl Munford arrived to Choke Cherry Canyon with a fresh outlook after two disappointing competitions back-to-back ending in their hometown of Cedar City, Utah, only a few weeks ago. The reigning PRO Rock champions wasted no time attacking the rock obstacles at this PRO Rock competition, as they hope to gain momentum leading into the second day of battle. The “Zuk,” a Suzuki Samurai professional competition rockcrawling rig, was pushed to the limits by driver, Dean Bulloch, who remained in his groove throughout the day. By the day’s end, the lifelong friends had taken a 128-point commanding lead over the nearest competitor.

Leading wire-to-wire on Sunday and finishing with a whopping 182-lead over the second place finisher, On Track Krawler Team displayed their raw talent in capturing yet another victory to be added to their trophy case. These champions are striving for a repeat performance of the 2005 PRO Rock Series victory here in 2006.

“We came out of the gate strong and really never looked back. We could do nothing wrong. And after the last couple of comps, we were ready for a solid performance. With some good luck, we’ll take this momentum into the rest of the season,” commented a smiling Bulloch.
