Driving Firebird Raceway’s Rock Pile – Bulloch Claims 3rd in Season Opener

Cedar City, Utah, – (May 16, 2006) Dean Bulloch and the No. 9 BFGoodrich/MAC Tools Suzuki put on another dominating performance on the rocks of the Firebird International Raceway before a local crowd at the BFGoodrich sponsored – UROC Pro-National Season Opener in Phoenix, Arizona. After the first day’s competition, Bulloch and his spotter, Karl Munford, led the nation’s top modified stock teams from the start gaining a big lead over the competition.

Bulloch’s domination didn’t go unnoticed by the fans and fellow competitors who remarked, “He’s nearly unstoppable.” Here, they were two days into the competition with a significant lead, before succumbing to motor stall in the final moments of the main event. “It was a great event for the On Track Krawler Team,” Bulloch said. “We ran flawlessly most of the weekend leading to the very end and then the unthinkable happened. The Zuk’s engine stalled in the middle of a difficult climb and we inverted because of the loss of power. That’s racing.”

The +38 point miscue handed the competition their first lead of the event and they never looked back. “At this level of professional rock crawling, it’s nearly impossible to make up such a huge point deficit. The season has just begun and we’re looking forward to the next event in our backyard,” explained Bulloch.

With a first place finish at the PRO Rock season opener, a second place claim at WE Rock’s first event and a third place here at the UROC inaugural event, On Track Krawler Team is poised in their charge for multiple series championships in the 2006 season.

The second competition of the five-race UROC Pro-National Series is set to begin on May 26, 2006 at Three Peaks Recreation, situated on the outskirts of Cedar City, Utah. Three Peaks Recreation has long been considered the personal playground for On Track Krawler Team.

Based in Cedar City, Utah, both Bulloch and Munford are successful business owners whose rockcrawling ventures are well-known throughout the area. You can be sure they will be in top condition as they vie against the nation’s best teams for a hometown win.
